Batonga 30 Day Dress Challenge: Day Twenty Three

+ 365

the dress: as dress // socks/shoes: forever 21

While at the mall my friend said it was finally sundress season, so I decided to keep things simple and let the dress stand alone. With warm temperatures even into the late hours of the night and the midnight sun still shining overhead, sometimes simplicity is better. Today almost seemed like summer.

day 144

It was mostly a quiet day, driving people around and spending some time at the mall, then returning home to build tents and play board games and run around outside. The finale for American Idol was tonight. I cried over the proposal and I have no idea who the happy couple was. I just love seeing people love and be in love.

The dress challenge is almost over, but there's still time to donate to the Batonga Foundation, which supports girls in Africa by giving them a full education. You can read more about it here! Every little bit helps.
Thank you and have an awesome day!

Batonga 30 Day Dress Challenge: Day Twenty Two

the dress: as shirt // skirt/hat: forever 21 // cardigan: sister's closet

Welcome to my weather blog! Okay, it's not really a weather blog, but I've talked about the weather in pretty much every single post, and I'm going to again! Today has been warm, actually, with the sun shining in the morning, but now in the evening (and actually for the past couple of evenings) it's been cloudy and rainy, and actually the forecast calls for rain for the rest of this week and the next! D: Can't always believe those forecasts though ...

But on to the outfit! I find it incredibly awesome that my mom, my ten year old sister, and I can all wear the same clothes. My sister let me wear her cardigan, and I always let her wear this skirt. Our wardrobes are extended in every which direction but it's great because it's like having three closets! I'll be sad when I go to college because I'll have to give back some of their stuff, haha. Oh well.

Thank you to my little sister for taking my photos for me. I got a new tripod which makes taking photos a lot easier, but she actually likes taking my picture and it's faster and more fun with her, so I'm not complaining!

As always, please please donate to the Batonga Foundation today! They are an awesome organization that provides girls with a full education, which betters their entire life because they can go to college and get a job and better take care of a family. Every little bit helps. Thank you so much and have an awesome day!

Batonga 30 Day Dress Challenge: Day Twenty One

the dress: as skirt // sweatshirt: from parents // shoes: target

Today has been a lazy day, hence my lazy outfit. My grandparents bought my entire family sweatshirts with our name on it, so I've been wearing it pretty much 24/7. I ran a few errands with my grandparents and spent some time signing up for my classes for college. The fall is going to be super busy, but I am incredibly excited for college.

Please continue to donate the Batonga Foundation, which supports girls' education in Africa.

Batonga 30 Day Dress Challenge: Day Twenty

the dress: as shirt // skirt: mother's closet // green scarf/shoes: forever 21 // red scarf/daisy hairclip: diy // earrings: noble town vintage

What a dreary day this has been. It's the first of many rainy days. Usually I like the rain and will even take advantage of using it for some awesome photo ideas (if I get models that are willing to get cold and wet) but today it has not been welcome. Hopefully tomorrow won't be so cold and rainy.

As always, please donate to the Batonga Foundation to help a girl in Africa receive a full education.

Batonga 30 Day Dress Challenge: Day Nineteen

the dress: as scarf // shirt/cardigan: thrifted // flower headband: diy

It was actually incredibly easy to turn this dress into a scarf. I was so surprised at how easy it was, I'm more than likely going to be wearing a lot of my dresses as scarves! All you do is just string the bottom of the dress through the arm holes and that's all! Such a perfect way to re-wear a dress with a fun print.

Today and yesterday have been pretty crazy. Matt has been doing a 48-hour film challenge so our group of crazy friends have been running around dressed up as vampires with movie cameras. Honestly, I don’t think there’s anything cooler than spending my summer running around dressed up as a vampire with cameras around me, staying up late, being stressed out, living off of adrenaline and mcdonalds, and creating awesome things with awesome people. That is the greatest thing ever. It's funny too because I realized as we were putting makeup on one of our actors that we are all drama kids ... we totally would be doing this sort of thing in our free time during the summer. We're awesome, don't even lie.

Please be sure to donate to the Batonga Foundation, which supports girls' schooling in Africa, which gives them not only a better education but a better way of life.

Batonga 30 Day Dress Challenge: Day Eighteen

the dress: as shirt // skirt: thrifted // scarf: from boyfriend // flower headband: diy

Greetings people of the morning. Who woulda thought I would even have a post up right at noon? Much less be awake at this time. Well Matt (my boyfriend) is about to begin a 48 hour film challenge and the kick off is just a few minutes away, so I had to be speedy quick and take morning photos before the insanity begins. I am super proud of him for doing this film challenge and I cannot wait to be a part of it!

This outfit made me kind of like this headband. I'm not too fond of giant things protruding from my head, but the daisies are kind of growing on me.

Well people are starting to come over, so I'd better head out, but in the meantime you can donate to the Batonga Foundation, which supports girls' education in Africa. It's already day eighteen in the challenge, so be sure to give today!

Have an awesome day everyone!

Batonga 30 Day Dress Challenge: Day Seventeen

the dress: as shirt // cardigan (dress): urban outfitters // shoes: forever 21 // shorts: target

What a lazy day this has been! I laid in bed until lunchtime, wandered around the house, wrote a million thank you cards for graduation presents, ate some food, all the lazy day things. I also worked on future blog posts and let me just say, it's going to be an exciting summer for Introvert's Introduction!

Today is day seventeen of the thirty day dress challenge. I'm doing this to raise awareness for the Batonga Foundation, which supports girls' education in Africa. You can donate by clicking on the button below!
