silver lines

day 177

Sorry this blog has been pretty quiet these past two days. I have done nothing worthy to mention in writing; it was basically a repeat of yesterday's events. I guess I'm just tired of being tired but there's no motivation to do anything. It's so boring around the house and there are very few people to hang out with over the summer; everyone seems to be busy with other things.

I'm tentatively working on a new blog design, but being the person that I am, it's proving difficult to come up with something I like, which leaves me frustrated, but leaving my blog looking the way it is is also frustrating. I just need an aesthetic change. The change will definitely be more sunny than this cold, wintry theme I seem to have going on. But the actual weather in Alaska has turned gloomy and being cooped up in the house makes me not want to do anything, which is also frustrating because I need to do something.

we can get together

day 176

What a sleepy day. I didn't do much. Edited a few photos. Ate some food. Watched some tv. Slept and slept and slept. I like relaxing days (and this one was much needed), but I'm about ready to get up and be busy again.

my week in instagram #5

1; We got a trampoline. 2; My boys and I scouting out locations for wedding shots. 3; Some late night reading. 4; Set up the sprinkler for the kids I babysit. 5; A kitty sleeping on my knee. 6; Smelled some beautiful flowers. 7; Late night blogging and cereal. 8; Gorgeous morning on the wedding day. 9; One of my favorite shots from the wedding!

This has definitely been a sunny, summery week, filled with lots of laughs and love. If you want to keep up with me, my instagram is @impulsings.

Have an awesome day, and don't forget to enter my We Love Colors giveaway!

the bride and groom

day 175

It was such a whirlwind day, waking up early and spending nearly every moment running around, making sure everything was perfect. Right now I'm too tired to really give you a good summary of the day, but know that it was a huge success. I love Joel and Marquel so much and I'm so glad I got to be a part of their wedding.

And for those curious, the photos will take six to eight weeks before I can get them out. I took well over 1,000 photos and when I can easily spend more than five minutes editing one photo, time quickly adds up. I got excited with these three though so you get a little preview.

But for now, I'm going to take a long nap and try to keep from crying over how cute Joel and Marquel are (that will take a lot of work).
