day 78
For the love of all that is good in the world, please click on the photo. You won't regret it.
Above all else, I want my photos to tell a story. During my first 365, I was worried about posting things that weren't necessarily in my character to post. For example, with today's photo, the story behind it is of a girl who's lost a lover. That is not reflective of my personal life, but for the longest time I would have been nervous to post something like that for fear someone would think that something actually is wrong. But I'm slowly and surely breaking out of that shell. Part of photography is to tell the truth, but the other part is to create a story. Sometimes it's great therapy for when something actually is the matter in my personal life, but sometimes it has nothing to do with it. And that's the beauty of photography.
So like I said before, the story behind this photo is a girl who's lost her lover. I'm not sure if he just went on a trip or died or left her, but while I was shooting the saying, "goodbye my almost lover" was ringing through my head. The story is told through her eyes.
Well alas, it's the last day of spring break! I guess I should get started on the homework I refused to do throughout the week, eh? I would say it was very productive! I finished my health class, ordered pictures, sewed a skirt and pillows, launched Introvert's Introduction's very first giveaway, which you can still enter in right here! (Please please enter! Yeah!) I had a photo adventure as well, not to mention I got to hang out with Matt a little bit! But it's back to school ... the next two weeks are going to be kind of slow on here, I'm afraid, because we're down to the wire on our school's play, so I will be very busy with that. But only two more months until summer!
How was your spring break? I really want to know about it! (Oh and apparently some people in the lower 48 have their spring break this week ... so what are your plans?) Have a great day!
