Batonga 30 Day Dress Challenge: Day Thirty

the dress: as shirt // skirt/cardigan: thrifted

Wow, that will be the last time I ever type that title. This has been a crazy month raising money for the Batonga Foundation and wearing this dress every day. I have learned so much about finding new ways to wear clothes that now, I could pretty much wear anything in any way.

Thank you very much from the bottom of my heart for donating, putting the buttons on your blogs, and raising awareness for the Batonga Foundation and the girls of Africa. You can still donate today and give education and a better life to a girl, and I will continue to support the Batonga Foundation through this blog so that you can donate at any time.

Be sure to check back tomorrow for a recap of the month. I also have some super awesome things planned for June so you won't want to miss out!

Thank you again so so much.

Thank you and have an awesome day!

I get lost sometimes

day 150

(Just click on the photo for realzies.)

This photo seriously doesn't do the sunset justice. I had a little bit of extra time after hanging out with people all day before I had to go home, so I decided I should get something somewhat decent in for a 365 photo. So I frantically drove up the mountain, missed the most spectacular part of the sunset, and after getting lost, just took this photo. Then I got lost again trying to get home. Oh well.

Today (pretty much) marks the halfway point for the 365 project. I seriously need to get more models because I have so many ideas in my head and I never have anyone to take pictures of. :( There are a couple summer shoots that are in the works, but I wish I could take photos of other people every day. Oh well.

P.S. Just realized I ended both of those paragraphs with "Oh well." Oh well.

Batonga 30 Day Dress Challenge: Day Twenty Nine

the dress: as shirt // skirt: forever 21 // tights/floral headband: diy

Wow, can you believe this challenge is almost over? Thank you so much to those of you who have already donated and for those of you who haven't, I would greatly encourage you to donate to the Batonga Foundation. They are a really great organization that provides girls in Africa with a full education. This is super important because when they're in school, not only are they learning to be able to provide for their future families, they are less likely to get sexually transmitted diseases and less likely to get married prematurely. They will continue on to pursue a higher education to become businesswomen and make a living for themselves.

Even if you just donate $5 it can change the world of a girl. If everyone who reads this blog just donates $5 each, we'll be able to give well over $500 to the Batonga Foundation.

Taken from the highway. This was on our way to an overnight camping trip.

For my new followers, the 365 is a year long journey where I take a photo a day for an entire year. Some days are conceptual shots, all are to remember my day-to-day life.
